Bike test commences…

The circuit test has started. Actually, it started 2 hours ago. Right now, I am having a break right now, which explains this blog entry. I am sending this via my cellular network. Amazing how technologies make updating a blog such a breeze!

Anyway, I’ve just passed my balancing and emergency break tests. What is left is the actual circuit riding. If I pass, you might see me on the roads tomorrow. If I fail, well, it is back to the balancing and emergency break tests again, before going through a NEW test route! If I pass, I will be rewarded with a long weekend this Saturday, which means more time to blog! Now you see how important it is for me to pass!

  1. Hey – hello! I read the bit that said “This blog does not allow anonymous comments,” hit the button that said “post an anonymous comment” anyway (eternally optimistic, that’s me), and voila! Here I am.

Now I’ve forgotten what I was going to say, except go for it, hope you do well, and I’ve got your new blog bookmarked and will be reading.

Oh, and I’ve remembered what I was going to ask: I notice that you’ve transferred all your archives over from tBlog. Was that easy? I’m not particularly clever about this sort of thing. (Just in case I ever decide to move…)

  2. To badaunt:

Well, it was not so much of a transfer, but rather a manual copy and paste. You see, I write my blogs on my text editor, before copying it onto tBlog previously, and subsequently, here. So what I did was to manually open all my previously saved blog files on my hard disk, and paste them manually into the blog one by one.

Painful, manual process, and it can really kill you if you have a large blog. Luckily, some nice people have created tools which you can use to migrate if you decide to do so. I am not too sure of the details, but you can always do a quick and dirty search on Google!
